Mark Pierce, Public Information Officer, from the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office led an insightful discussion on Cyberbullying during today’s Lunch & Learn, hosted by our Student Services Department. Mr. Pierce’s expertise and dedication to student safety provided invaluable perspectives on protecting our students from the harmful effects of online bullying. Through real-life examples, preventive strategies, and an open Q&A, he empowered us to better support our students in navigating today’s digital world with confidence and resilience. Throughout the morning, students had the opportunity to connect with representatives from a wide range of colleges and universities, exploring options for higher education and learning more about programs that match their goals. In addition to college options, students were able to speak with industry professionals across various fields, gaining insights into career paths and the skills needed to succeed. From healthcare to technology, business, and more, today was all about making future dreams feel possible and tangible.
