Making changes to lessen the impact: The April bond plan is $47.5 million less than the November 2023 plan! Congratulations to NDMS's own Ellie and Mariah competing in archery at the state competition last weekend. Ellie placed 3rd in FITA and 4th in 3D in the Compound Open class. Mariah placed 4th in FITA and 5th in 3D in the Compound Limited class.

The DeSoto Parish School Board is dedicated to being a good steward of taxpayer dollars and are committed to using our resources to provide excellent educational opportunities for our students. The cost to the taxpayer depends on the value of your home. For example, a $300,000 home in District No. 2 (North DeSoto) with a homestead exemption of $75,000 would have an adjusted taxable value of $225,000 which would be assessed at 10%. Thank you to all the volunteers that came to be patients for the Medical Detectives class!!! Students spent the week analyzing patient medical files. Today was spent interviewing patients, interpreting lab results and providing a diagnosis with treatment options. What a great day to be a Griffin!!!
