The SHS Veteran's Day Program will be November 11th at 9:30 AM. If our students have anyone they would like to add to the Veterans Day slideshow. Today is the day!!  7 pm at SHS!  Tickets are $10 at the door.  Don’t miss this fun-filled event where our own SHS students, staff, alumni, community members, and even a DPSO team will be riding real live donkeys and playing basketball!  See you there!!

This year's 4H pumpkin decorating contest had a lot of creative pumpkins! Our overall winners were: Most Creative: C. Aymond, Best Cartoon/Movie Theme: M. Dickson, Best 4H/School Spirit: K. Dickson, Best Halloween Themed: K. Palmer.

Senior FFA members are currently in Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2024 National FFA Convention & Expo. The Convention is all about growing the next generation of leaders. Their goal these next few days is to find inspiration and direction to become a leader and influencer, ready to make an impact. Thanks to Mr. Jordan for organizing the trip and giving our students this opportunity. #StandleyPROUD

4th and 5th Grade students are doing a fundraiser selling AWESOME bed sheets. It helps with our field trips, monthly rewards, end of the year awards, and classroom supplies that we might need. All sheets are $35. Money and orders are due NO LATER than November 19th so that they will be in before Christmas. If you would like to order, please get with a 4th or 5th grader, Mrs Lowe, Mrs Walker, or Mrs Hatcher! Thanks for everything you help us with!!!

SHS will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 28 - Nov. 1. All students (Pre-K - 12th) may participate. Students who are not participating should be in regular uniform. All clothing must follow dress code policies.

Students may wear PINK to school on Monday to support Breast Cancer Awareness! 🎀🩷 The Lady Panthers ask that fans wear PINK to the game on Monday! JV at 4:30, Varsity at 6:00!
