The April 2024 proposal is significantly reduced in costs at $85.2 million with a millage rate of 22. The plan proposes the construction of a new high school and upgrades to the lower elementary which would be combined with reconfiguring grade levels across current facilities.

Reminder that NDLE Field Day on Friday, March 22!
PreK-4, Kindergarten, and First grade classes will have Field Day at NDHS Griffin Stadium 10:00-11:30. Parents and families are welcome to come watch the games from the track or the stands.
Mrs. Hasty’s PreK-3, Mrs. Carpenter and Procell's ECSE classes will have a different schedule and location. Contact those teachers directly for questions.
All students need to wear athletic bottoms and shoes. They will wear their class shirt for Field Day.
Please tell your teacher if you plan to check your child out after Field Day so they can bring their backpacks to Griffin Stadium.

In December 2023, more than 600 community members participated in a survey to gather more information about the election results and priorities for a solution. Respondents overwhelmingly felt that the 2023 bond was too expensive for taxpayers and that they wanted to see a solution that was less than $100 million with more details available.

Wednesday 8:00-1:30 and 3:30-5:00
Thursday 8:00-1:30 and 3:30- 5:00
Friday 12:00- 1:30 (after Field Day)

The Kona Ice truck will be parked outside NDLE on Friday, March 22 for Field Day. Students can purchase snow cones for $3. Please send $3 with your child in an envelope or ziplock bag labelled with their name, teachers name, and Kona Ice.

Reminder: NDLE students can wear St. Patrick's Day or green shirts with uniform bottoms tomorrow Friday, March 15. Or they can dress as their favorite cartoon character in celebration of PTO's Penny Wars.
Tomorrow is the last day for Penny Wars at NDLE! Bring your spare change to help your class win a pizza party.
NDLE's Field Day is coming on Friday, March 22nd! All students will wear athletic shorts, tennis shoes and their class shirt on this day. Pk-4, Kindergarten, and 1st grades' games will be at NDHS Griffin Stadium from 10-11:30. Parents can come watch from the track or bleachers. Please let your teacher know if you plan to check them out afterwards so they will have their backpack. Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Procell's classes will have Field Day at 9:00 on the NDLE front playground. Mrs. Hasty will contact parents with details about PK-3 Field Day. We look forward to seeing all of our Little Griffins' families!
