Concessions will be sold on Friday, March 1
PTA Meeting will be moved to 4:00 p.m. on March 4 in the Music Classroom. You can still enter through the cafeteria doors. All students of parents who attend will receive a free dress pass.
Look out for more information about ordering Field Day Snack Bags and Penny Wars fundraiser in March.
$2 Wrestling Scholarship Fundraiser
On Wednesday, February 28th, NDLE students may pay $2 to wear green/free dress to school. The proceeds will go toward awarding a North Louisiana wrestler a scholarship in memory of Mason Chandler. Mason was an NDLE student who wrestled in the North DeSoto Wrestling Academy his Kindergarten year.
Mudbugs Visit and Free Tickets for Students
Players from the Shreveport Hockey team, the Mudbugs, will come read to our students on Wednesday, February 28 at 9:00 am. This is in celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday and to invite students to the Mudbugs’ Dr. Seuss Night on March 8. Parents can call the Mudbugs ticket office (636-7094) to claim a free child’s ticket before March 8. The complimentary ticket will include a free skate before the game from 5-6:15. The game will begin at 7:11 pm. Tickets must be reserved before the game, they will not be available at the ticket office in person. Adult tickets cost $8. The first 200 kids at the game will get a free Thing 1 or Thing 2 Dr. Seuss shirt. The Mudbugs play at George’s Pond at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum.
Dr. Seuss’ Birthday will be observed March 1
On Friday, March 1, students may dress as a Dr. Seuss character or wear a Dr. Seuss shirt to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday!
