PTA News
Our next concessions dates are Nov. 3rd and 17th. The next meeting is Nov. 6th at 6 pm in the cafeteria. Use the entrance by the bus parking lot.
Shreveport Opera Express (Nov. 3)
Each year the Shreveport Opera Express group comes to share a short performance for our students. Students learn about music and good character through these performances. This is a community outreach program for the Shreveport Opera.
Kindergarten Thanksgiving Lunch (Nov. 9)
Notes were sent home in student folders to register to eat lunch with your Kindergarten student. Message your teacher or call the office if you are in need of information. First grade parents will have the opportunity to eat with their students in December and PreK parents will have the opportunity to eat with their students around Easter. More details will be communicated closer to those times.
Book Fair
Mrs. Garner wants to thank all students and parents for buying books or volunteering at the book fair. Your purchases will help replenish books, magazines, and other items in our NDLE Library. You can still shop online from Oct. 30- Nov. 3 at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/ndle. Your books and purchases will be shipped directly to your home.
North DeSoto Schools : Early Voting Begins Nov. 3 for Bond Election
Registered voters in North DeSoto (District no. 2) will consider a bond proposal for capital improvements in a November 2023 election that is focused on facilities that would grow the capacity of the schools in the area to address the rapid growth in the community.
