LHS yearbooks are on sale!!! The forms are located outside of Mrs. Bush’s office and the deadline to order has been extended the dealine to April 26th. They are $60.

Congrats to Roper & Stevie who placed 2nd in the Area II Regional welding competition yesterday. These guys will compete at state in a few weeks.

Yesterday, the Lady Tigers recognized Mrs. Vicki McWhorter for being #thedesotodifference. She goes above & beyond for the Lady Tigers team by fixing a meal or whatever these girls need. Thank you Mrs. Vicki for your continued support & for making #thedesotodifference.

The awards ceremony scheduled for Friday is postponed until after break due to JH cheer tryouts!

Purple Paws United is sponsoring Tiaras and Ties Daddy-Daughter Dance & Dinner on April 18th in the Elementary Gym. See flyer for ticket info. Deadline to purchase tickets is April 10th!

Mrs. Lagars’ first graders measured objects with cubes in order to compare lengths in today’s math lesson.

Our CITF students are hard at work building their chairs.

Congratulations to Stevie and Roper for placing 1st in the LA FFA District V Ag Mechanics CDE. Landon & Sebastian also scored 6th place.

Today LHS celebrated Black History Month with our annual program. Thank you Dr. Gretchen Petterway for being our special guest speaker. Also, thank you to the student's and teacher's who helped put it all together.

Today was "Read A Book With A Friend Day" at LHS. Thank you to our students who took time to go read to a class. Also, thank you to Mrs. Diane Pitts, Children's Librarian at our Logansport Library and retired LHS Teacher Mrs. Markham for taking time to come read to our students.

LHS and our Unstoppables Club hosted the annual DeSoto SWSD Valentine Party before leaving for break.
