Out of an abundance of caution, Friday night’s football jamboree has been canceled due to contact tracing involving players from both Logansport and Mansfield High Schools. At this time the cancellation does not impact future games.
Our heart goes out to the student-athletes and their coaches who have worked so hard under difficult circumstances to prepare themselves for competition. However, our number one priority remains the health and safety of our students as we continue to be diligent in following the required mitigation measures. Our schools have done an outstanding job in following the protocols and guidance provided to us, but just as we learned last year, playing sports during this time continues to be a very fragile situation.
